About us.
We named our academy after Bruriah for two reasons. Bruriah stressed for students who could not remember their lessons for them to pronounce their lessons it out loud. Also Bruriah grew up when the study of torah was prohibited by the Romans and also the Rabbi's were not thrilled at her studying Talmud. Our hope is that all our students will push through any obstacle and claim their education and heritage as Bruriah had done.
